2. Found chords that suited the "mood" of the piece
3. Tried different techniques to come up with a melody and lyrics 
- One of the techniques we tried was called musical conversations. People take turns telling stories and talking about random things to get our "creative juices flowing" and get the rhythm down
4. Tony came up with a picking part for the guitar and did a variation of the chords 
5. We put a metronome to the guitar part (80) and recorded it on our phones
