She starts off by being a shy and innocent young girl who cannot stand up for herself. Then she meets Pablo and she falls in love with him and starts to take lots more risks like leaving the house at night and risking getting killed just to see him. She ends up being a lot more strong-willed and confident towards the end of the book. That is Burn Baby Burn. Nora is a seventeen year old girl who is about to graduate from high school and she wants to go to college but there is one big problem. She comes from one of the poorest families in town. Also her brother is a violent person who is on a downward spiral towards a life of crime. My favorite part is when she meets her new coworker pablo and instantly falls in love. The main idea of this book is that family is always first and that you can't give up on family. I thought this book was a disappointment.
