The two people holding hands shows their feelings for each other and genuine emotions are expressed. You can tell the love they have for each other through just one photo. The photo shows the building and even though it doesnt say that it was a assisted living place, you can see what's around him and where he goes and the environment he lives in verses someone without disabilities lives. It makes it look like the stairs could go up for miles. It makes the viewer wonder where it leads.

I used the shape of the stairs to create a silhouette and shadow from the light coming into the window.
