2. New GM technologies are becoming more resistant for pests. They're becoming less effective as pests develop more of a resistance.

2. Affordability: Organic certification involves many steps to ensure proper handling of food through all steps of growing and distribution. This often makes the food more expensive. Local farms can be a less expensive organic option because you aren't covering transport costs in the price tag.
