What did you learn from the process of creating your digital response? What got in the way of your learning? What helped your learning? How did you feel at different parts of the process? How could you imagine using this digital tool with students?
Padlet is new for me and got familiar to it quickly than I thought. It is a great tool with several options to share ideas with each other in the classroom. It was really helpful video about posting and sharing and gives you option too. I catch up most of the things visually and having lesson with each step visually was great. I am planning to teach mostly for primary grade level K- 3rd and I think with the help of parents they might be able to write, draw and add voice clip in this tool. I might use as for school events, birthday messages, Classroom wish list and parent communication.

What questions surfaced from the reading? What connections did you make to your teaching or learning experiences? How does this reading challenge you?

I like that teacher tried opening up the social media blogging post for her students but having limited access of internet at their home and once a week at school it was not much convenient as she thought. I like that she also focused on writing about her student’s interest which allows them to spend their time on typing in the computer. I spent once a week class of 45 minutes in computer lab at my school which happened during 6th grade. I learned the basic knowledge on Microsoft word and Excel and mostly painting and drawing on it was fun. Now, the time has changed and most of the 6th graders have smart phone which allows them to access to different learning tools. It is also tough to work on digital access when most of the students don’t have internet access at their home.
