The author began this book by describing a concert in which, Eddie (the singer) threw up, and had to leave, was replaced by Neil Young on stage. The fans were not interested in Young at all, and they demanded refunds. This gained my interest because, the story builds back up to this point, and starts from the beginning of Pearl Jam.
