a. First, you need a 4-line rap, which is a stanza.

Example:

b. Next, make a song that relates to the story.

Example:

Line 1: The wolf lives in the ________,

Line 2: Alone but he is so _______,

Line 3: He helps even he's _________,

Line 4: The 3 pigs who are super ________.

c. In a rap song, the end of every word in each line must rhyme. Line 1 rhymes with Line 2 & Line 3 rhymes with Line 4.

Example:

Line 1: The wolf lives in the cave,

Line 2: Alone but he is so brave,

Line 3: He helps even he's impaired,

Line 4: The 3 pigs who are super scared.

d. After you're done writing, upload a video/audio of you singing your rap song!

e. Extra points are given if you add:

• actions,

• DIY backtrack song (e.g. clap, beat drum, instrumental on Youtube like this one!)

• another stanza!

English is enjoyable to learn, especially when you are able to include the fun part in it. Growing up, English language has been one of the biggest part of me. My love towards the language grew from listening to English songs and reading English novels and non-fictions. I want the students to learn through my point of views, how these two activities enhance my proficiency in English language.
