In my school, AI mainly helps with looking up information. We even use it as a topic in English class and discuss what the future might look like. I’ve also shown that it can be useful for checking English essays. Personally, I think it would be great if AI could actually create new learning environments where people from all over the world can study together.

Different countries have a wide range of usage of AI in education and the diversity of education systems worldwide will also have varying opinions on how AI will affect education

An idea I will apply immediately:

Using AI to learn more about my heritage! Particularly in terms of investigating our history, knowledge might be hard to consolidate due to lack of easy access to historical sources. Artificial Intelligence, with its ability to quickly gather information from the internet, will definitely be a useful tool in dwelving deeper into history. However, I will have to take the effort to fact-check the information if possible.

I found it interesting to hear a little about the situation in other countries and the differences in how they approach AI. In our country, many educational settings still reject using AI due to fear and lack of trust. However, I learned that in other countries, AI is being incorporated into lessons and school environments, showing a more open attitude toward it.

From this, I thought that the fear arises from trying to rely on AI for everything. If we understand that AI is not something to depend on completely, but rather a tool and a supportive part of the process, and use it as a means to enhance education through human interaction, it can become a very valuable partner.

I think that a very valuable lesson i learned is that AI literacy is crucial to todays standards of education. More and more people use chatbots in our days and it ia being used less eficient that it could. One thing that I would add is the subject of AI literacy in schools, giving teachers the time to educate their students on how to use prompts effectively.

My greatest takeaway is the opportunity to dialogue with many fellow educators and students from different parts of the world. It’s fascinating to realise that the readiness to adopt AI may depend less on cultural, social, technological factors and it seems independent of subject discipline and even age/gender profile of the educators. Mindset seems to be the key.
