Put Ss in small groups to discuss which type of blog they would be most interested, class feedback. 6. Have Ss go online and find examples of their chosen type of blog and give class feedback. 7. Present the task: Each student to create a blog, which will be assessed for part of their CA. Give clear Assessment Criteria. 8. Give them time in class to start setting up their blog on Word Press (G910-12?) or EduBlog (G7-9?) - important to use the same platform for every student in class, for consistency? 9. Make it clear they need to update their blog weekly. 10. They accurately explain the expectations to prove that the required skill is mastered. I am in two minds about the large percentage range that each criteria gives. On one hand it allows a teacher to give students what they think the student has achieved, but on the other hand it can slow down mark allocation.
