Mercury is the smallest planet in the Solar System. It's orbit around the Sun takes 87,97 Earth days the shortest of all planets in the Solar System.Mercury is also the closest planet to the Sun. Mercury completes 3 rotations of it's axis. For every 2 orbits of the Sun which takes around 88 Earth day. i think this in my head a lot what is Mercury made of well Mercury is made of a solid silicate crust and mantle overlying a solid, iron sulfide outer core layer, a deeper liquid core layer, and a solid inner core. Mercury is one of the four terrestrial planets in the Solar System
