This passage shows that Conner underestimated the brochure and the civil war. We can relate because we underestimated the amount of trash on the beach. We went out in the afternoon when most people are out at the beach. We decided during the afternoon the beach will be the most crowded so more people would see what we were doing. We ended up going a whole tower more than the last time. Doing it with my friends made the time fly bye and we found a lot more trash. Overall I would say that this was definitely the perfect project for me because it was something that I enjoyed putting effort into. This project also made me realize how much trash is really left out on the beach and how much gets into our ocean, harming our wild life. For me this project meant a lot because I go to the beach often and seeing it in the condition it is now is almost sickening.
