         <description><![CDATA[<div>We didn't know that antidepressants were used as a treatment for ADHD, or that it was not approved by the FDA to treat ADHD.&nbsp;<br><br>We also did not know (and think it's a little alarming), that 2/3-3/4 of people with ADHD will end up suffering from another psychiatrist disorder.&nbsp;<br><br>There is not much research on medication for adults with ADHD. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Antidepressants: We did not realize that it was an option for treatment. It is interesting that the FDA doesn't approve of it as a treatment for ADHD, so it is kind of up to the doctor and parent to decide if they want to try it. </div>]]></description>

We also thought it was interesting that doctors typically treat the other conditions adults may have before treating ADHD because some ADHD medication can negatively impact other medical conditions.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
