You could mostly smell moss and dirt when being next to nature. I could smell the atmosphere, it gave off a natural, fresh, clean scent. The atmosphere allows life to receive oxygen to grow, affects erosion and weathering, and gives water a current flow.

You could smell the humidity from the lake due to the suns heat when evaporations occurs.(WATER CYCLE)

For example, the hydrosphere gives water to the geosphere which moistens the land which then causes life (biosphere) to grow. When plans grow, they release oxygen which travels to the atmosphere allowing humans and animals to breathe. The hydrosphere is only temporary unlike the geosphere which is permanent. The geosphere can control the earth’s climate (rain, heat, etc.) shapes the land/nature, and impacts humans (natural disasters). I have learned that our ecosystem is a never ending cycle of energy flows.
