As a member of the "Ecuadorian Cultural Preserver," the purpose of this project is to help preserve Ecuador's culture because there are a lot of cultures around the world that are already extinct or are endangered currently. Making this website can help us spread the cultures of Ecuador attracting tourists and allowing them to come to Ecuador bringing some Ecuadorian cultures back into their hometown. In this project, I will be introducing the cultures in Ecuador such as the food, drinks, sports, traditions, and etc.

Ecuador has a rich and diverse culture due to the influence made by other countries shown in many hand-woven tapestries made by the locals. Ecuadorian culture is a mix of indigenous practices with European colonial influences. 72% of the population of Ecuador has a mixed background explaining the country's cultural diversity, unique customs, and traditions. Protecting Ecuador’s culture is important especially since Ecuador becomes more globalized each year, and their cultures are slowly fading.
