Groseclose started the agricultural boys' club in 1922 in Buckingham, Va. He helped start future farmers of vagina in 1926. He helped write the constitution and by-laws for the future farmers of america.

 He worked to improve and increase the number of agriculture programs available for African-Americans and their advisers. When he  began working in 1917 , there were 39 programs available for African-american students, with an enrollment of 1,025. by the time the NFA merged with FFA in 1965 there were more than 50,000 NFA members. 
 In 1996 the first H.O Sargent award were presented to commemorate the new farmers of america and success in achieving and recognizing diversity in agricultural education.

The creed was revised a the 38th and the 63rd conventions.
 Tiffany's FFA experience came first hand as he was raised on a farm.

   He  started on this in 1919, first national judging contest was held in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1925.
 C.H lanes helped draft the FFA Constitution. Co-wrote the forst Official FFA manual. he was the first national FFA advisor and served the years of 1928-1934
