Even the idea of this course made me feel anxious until I met Agi and Cem( our great facilitatos) and my colleagues this morning.
From the moment we entered the classroom, the program flow and positive approaches helped me relax and feel that I was in the right place&people 🙏

The start of the program with ice-breaking events such as Tea or Coffee and My Personal Star accelerated the group's meeting and bonding with each other.
After the group got to know eachother quickly and effectively, mobility among the group and interaction were ensured at the highest level by making activities with small teams, big teams, and as pair work.t was obvious that very detailed preparations were made for all events in advance. The facilitators were very well prepared for this course and even the way the group pairings were done was fun and thoughtful.(sticks, dices, papers and all the stationery)

In today's sessions, all the questions in our minds for the studies we will do at the end of the course were answered. As of now, I have sufficient information about the purpose of the program and the title of facilitator that I will receive at the end of the course.Positive thoughts and good impressions of our Facilitators Agi and Cem made me feel happy.
I'm excited for the rest of the course and all

Today was a day that I recorded a lot of useful information that I will use both in my professional life and as a facilitator.Especially we have observed that giving clear instructions makes things easier in the classroom and it relieves the teacher's burden because when the instructions are clear, the flow in the classroom goes on regularly.
Undoubtedly the most useful information of the day was the ICQ's. I am quite sure that I will apply all of them in my classes and PDC's 👌
The activity that we tried to form a sentence all together was the one that I liked much for today 🙏

Today it was full of movement and I felt happy and confident since I am a Kinesthetic 🏃‍♀️The best activity of the day was the parasite game. Actually it was a little demonstration of our classes 😊
Talking about and seeking for solutions to the speaking problems of our students was the another useful activity. Gül's offer(giving two speaking tickets to the students in the beginning of the lesson) is the best thing for me that I stole today and I am going to do with my classes. Paper Slide activity and the Flipgrid are also new for me and I am looking forward to apply on my classes and PDC's as well.
I am happy because it is very enjoyable to learn and cooperate.Being in communication all the time, following all the instructions and the busy schedule sometimes makes me feel tired, but overall I am fine.

The best thing that I liked much today was working on PDCs questions both individually and in groups. First we focused on a question and then we came together with the other group members who focused on different questions so that at the end we had ideas about all the 4 questions. The other surprising activity was the reading activity at the beginning of the lesson; even we had a surprise in the end it was good to answer all the questions while singing, moving around..
The snowball activity was also good for me since I feel better while moving around 🏃‍♀️
I am very happy to be with our very nice and kind teachers Agi and Cem ✨
( Don't take it as flattery,it is just the truth)
Monitoring and Feedback session was also good for me,I am sure I will use all that items in my classes 👌
The last thing that I want to mention is giving little chances to us as facilitators during the sessions is really very helpful for me 🙏

Today the writing activities were nice especially the one we had the groupwork. Giving solutions to the most common writing problems was challenging and brainstorming with colleagues was very useful 👌
The most joyful part of the day was the one that we created the nonsense sentences with our groups. It reminded me the game we played with our friends when we were children.(Kim?who, kiminle?with whom, nerede?where,ne yapıyor?what is he/she doing) This game actually gave us many different and developable ideas.
I like the dynamics of our group and the way they come up with different ideas.
I believe I have developed my creative thinking skills and this makes me happy.
Finally, I really like having chance for the warm-up tours as a facilitator 🙏

Today we dealt with grammar and vocabulary. We discovered useful methods that we can use when teaching Grammar. Especially implicit grammar ideas were very good for me.Implicit grammar teaching methods will help my students naturally acquire through situational scene when learning grammar that's why I like these method. CCQs are the questions that I have already used in my classes but I don't know the terminological name actually. For making CCQs we can use several styles of questions. We may ask yes/no questions, either/or questions, and simple 'Wh' questions to check the various aspects of the target language. Each type of question elicits a different kind of response.
As far as I understood from today's session;
The easiest questions to create are yes/no questions, but I don’t believe that the learners necessarily process the language if they only answer yes or no. I would rather use questions which get the students to repeat the keywords I have identified to summarize that area of language.
The best CCQs:
Are as short as possible.
Are in the present simple or past simple.
Don’t contain the target language! (So no present perfect in your question about the present perfect.)
Use only language below the level of the students.
Require thought to answer.
Can be endlessly reused every time you check the meaning of that grammar point or vocabulary area.

For Example (please give feedback if it is OK or not)
I’m going to meet my mum tonight.
Is it about the past, present, or future? The future.
Is it a plan or an idea? A plan.
Did I decide now (when I’m speaking) or before? Before.
Is it in my head or in my diary? In my head.
The other sessions were about vocabulary teaching which I really like because I can use a lot of different Web 2.0 tools while teaching vocabulary. (I really like using and learning new webtools)
Creating vocabulary notebooks, using visuals, flashcards, creating activities with webtools are the ways that we can boost vocabulary teaching.
The best vocabulary activity for me was the one we tried to guess the word in turns with our elbow partner that our face partners decided before.(like one head in two bodies)
Thank you Agi and Cem for preparing all these great sessions for us 🙏

I am really OK because I feel that I am ready with it 🙏
I know that with good planning, I can achieve and after today's sessions, many things became clear in my mind.
The videos we watched today about Assessment and the teamwork cleared my hesitations about it.In addition, the session we had about planning gave me tips for a good planning. Now I am looking forward to plan my micro PDC in details✌️

Hi Işık, it was nice to hear your positive sentences about us. We are also so happy to be with all of you. PDC meetings are shaped by the effort of facilitators. Of course, It is not easy to understand the whole process within 10 days but we would like you to demonstrate it as much as possible with different kinds of activities. Because, you will be also doing them starting from next month. Integrating fun materials into the activities always gives an opportunity to make the participant eager for the following sessions. Working in cooperation and collaboratively is key point to facilitate a session. You have been doing well since the beginning. Keep going on like that.

OMG 😊 It is a perfect reflection of the day. You have already mentioned how it went and how you would apply them with your students in your classes. I think you are aware of the reason why you are here. Your observation is precious for us. I am able to guess how effectively you use digital tools on vocabulary teaching. You did great job. Thank you for this detailed reflection.

Hi dear,I love your mottos for each day. Yeap, your micro PDC is approaching but don’t worry, I am sure you will be doing great. Onion ring is not only a warm-up activity. You can use it in engage and share stage as well. Without planning, nobody manages to handle or facilitate any meetings even if he/she is thaught as an experienced teacher. Thanks for the pictures and short videos on your padlet. Whatever you do here will help you in the following months. I count on you and I believe that I would like to be one of your participants.
