They are also ranked the #1 in the nation in college baseball. Its not that far of a drive 10 maybe 15 minutes. We drove up to the field me, my mom, and dad, of course we are late because my dad always is so i hop out, grab my bag, and start running up to the field. I ran by the concession stand see my friend he was working there. I said hey and ran to the field to start warming up with my team. After ready both teams go to there dug out and get ready for there position or ready to bad depend on if you were home or not. It was windy this day and perfect temperature for a game. We are batting first since we are away so my best friend Rob gets ready to bat because he is lead off hitter. He gets on base and another teammate up and he struck out. My next teammate was up after him and i was next after him so i got out on the sand to practice swing. He had gotten on base with a grounder down the left field line. Person on 1st and 2nd, one out and i'm up to bat for the first time this season. I'm a little nerves shaking walking up to the batter box. I step in take my practice swing, stand tall, get my feet in line, get on my toes, elbow up, and i'm just in a world with just me and the pitcher. The pitcher looks at me, he stands up and puts the ball in the glove ready for the pitch. The arm goes back my arms go back, i watch the ball go through the air like i'm in slow motion. I pick my front leg up step forward, pull my arms back and forward, i swing with all my might watching the ball the whole time. Pow, the ball hits off the bat and starts going up and deep in center. My teammates on the bases running, the crowd yelling, my feet gliding over the ground. I kept my head down and ran as fast as i could i rounded first, rounded 2nd, i looked up the 3rd base coach when coming in he's arm is swinging telling me to go home. Percy Jackson I had watched the movie probably over 5 times its one of my favorite movies and books. I liked how Percy the whole book/movie he was learning how to use his powers even in the next one he is still learning so its like you are learning with him on what he can do. My favorite part was probably the Hydro fight because he thought that he was done and it was easy but he didn't know that hydro's when they lose a head they grow two more back . It had given me a fresh start and a better place to live because i use to live in Florissant my whole life. Birth to 6ths grade winter break because my elementary went to 6th grade and my mom and dad wanted to move me before i had to go to cross keys what is the middle school i would have gone to there. It is not a good school or neighborhood. When i was living there all the riots were going on and my school got canceled alot for the riots so none of us would get hurt so my parents were not living there and they moved here what is a very good place to live.
