How can the effects of the Tsunami be reduced?
1. Have early preparation and an efficient early warning system to evacuate the people in the area which the Tsunami will strike.
2. Have regular Tsunami / Earthquake drills in school so that the students will know what to do when a Tsunami / Earthquake hits.
3. Have the people to have their houses / buildings made out of flexible things such as bamboo instead of hard things such as brick so that when a Tsunami / Earthquake strikes, people who are trapped inside the houses / buildings won't get damaged that much.
4. If your at the beach or somewhere at the coast and see the sea level receding, evacuate the people in that area immediately because it's a sign that a Tsunami will strike
