<var>Physiotherapy Assessment </var>
Will be assessing Mrs X's pain scale using VAS(visual analog scale) in order to obtain her pain severity. At the same time, measure the swelling using a limb girth measurement (measuring tape) to compare swelling on both knees. from the palpation, mild warmth is presented on the left medial knee and nil on the right side using the dorsum of the hand. Crepitus is present on the left knee while performing ROM test (knee flexion) about mid range. MMT is performed to test quadriceps and hamstring strenght. goniometer is used to obtain the exact range of motion of knee flexion and extension. posture is analysed using wall test and gait is by using a parallel bar/treadmill to identify any abnormal gait patten.

<var>Objective of Treatment </var>
short term goal
- to reduce pain
- to reduce swelling and inflamation
- to improve ROM
- to improve muscle power
- to improve posture and gait

long term goal
- to improve ADL
- to improve prolong walking without pain
- to be able to climb stairs without pain

<var>Method of management</var>
- pain management (cryocuff, tens, ultrasound, laser, etc)
- Joint mobilization (grade I and II)
- stretching
- muscle strenghtening exercise (isometric exercises, SQE, IRQ, SLR, etc)
- posture awareness
-gait training
-HEP
