The California Center for School Climate, is an initiative of the California Department of Education, and we provide free support to schools, districts, and county offices of education.

We still have a couple of spots available for a collaborative and a peer network opportunity. See the links below to find more information on each.

School Climate Collaborative
The School Climate Collaborative is a yearlong intensive and collaborative partnership. The CCSC and partner districts will collaborate in virtual coaching sessions and co-lead onsite events to strengthen districts' school climate efforts. Apply Now.

School Climate Data Use Peer Network for LEAs * The Peer Networks starts at the end of October.
Through the School Climate Data Use Peer Network, CCSC will support district/school teams to improve their school climate data use practices with capacity building, opportunities to connect with other educational leaders, and individualized coaching. Apply Now.

Organized a retreat with my Department Staff in Lake Arrowhead, and had a productive time getting to know one another more, build trust with one another, and work on our strategic plan for the 24-25 school year. Arvin

On March 30th, we surprised my abuelita (Mamária) for her 83rd birthday. We had the opportunity to gather all my tíos and tías and her sisters, who came over from Mexico, Texas, and various places in California. My mother's house was packed, and once again, we felt the warmth of having family members over, smiling, laughing, crying, and most importantly, making connections and memories. It was an amazing experience as it took over 20 years to make it happen.
