On December 1, 1955 a woman by the name Rosa Park sat in the back of the bus were black people had to sit, but a white man couldn't find a place to sit and made her move but she refused and was arrested. This act of arrest led to outrage and support. Later on the MIA was formed by a Baptist named Martin Luther King Jr.

The school invited black kids to join the school, When the kids went to the school they were faced with the National guard and a mob of people screaming and threatening them. Only a few weeks later the kids managed to enter the school, but shortly after they had to be escorted out due to safety reasons.

The problem was that the tests were made to be near impossible to pass.

On Mothers day in 1961 the bus stopped at Anniston, Alabama where a mob threw a bomb into the bus. The activists made it out of the bus badly hurt. After returning home a mob of white people attacked the bus causing the Attorney General Kennedy to send federal marshals. After the bus stopped in Mississippi they were arrested for trespassing against a "white-only" place.
