Singapore’s well-kept parks and gardens are enjoyed by many. Now, they are being made more attractive for wildlife too. A walk in a Singapore park today offers many exciting encounters. You may spot butterflies, birds and even otters! These are some of the animals that have returned to green spaces across the island. The growing diversity of plants in our parks had made them more welcoming for wildlife.

in my experience I have been to botanical gardens we saw Chickens swan turtle bird aka pigeons lizard fish and monitor lizard miss Joaquin's flower 🌺 and a few kinds of orchids and rubber sap trees. we also have gone to an animal carnival theme nature we have also been to Singapore zoo for those who haven't been to these common places try visiting there and it will be naturally fun😄👍.

I have visited many parks in Singapore, of which include East Coast Park, Admiralty Park, West Coast Park and many more. In all these parks, I have seen quite a lot of squirrels, interesting plants and, yes, mosquitoes! The increase in plant diversity has attracted more wildlife as animals are naturally attracted to plants and need them to survive. For example, birds like sunbirds and bulbuls are drawn to parks with flowering plants, as they rely on nectar and berries for food. Similarly, butterflies thrive in areas with diverse plant species that serve as host plants for their caterpillars. Even larger animals, such as monitor lizards, find shelter among dense vegetation, making the parks a richer habitat for various forms of wildlife.

1.I have gone to many parks in Singapore but my favorite and most enjoyable was botanic garden because of its rich biodiversity. Botanic garden is home to many animals like birds and otters. I have seen many types of flowers as well like Singapore national flower: vanda miss Joaquim.

2.Increasing plant diversity gives animals and insects a wider range of food and shelter therefore making parks more attractive to wildlife. Cross pollination can occur meaning new plants and flowers thereby attracting even more butterflies, bees and animals.

In my life,I have only been to 3 parks.The three parks I went to are near my school . East Coast Park,Bangsawan Park and Siglap Linear Park.I have seen many kinds of plants there.I have only seen a few animals such as birds and butterflies.The increase of plant diversity made parks more attractive to wildlife by providing more diverse food sources,shelter and habitat, ultimately creating more thriving ecosystems.

I have visited Pasir Ris park, East Coast park and Botanic garden.I have seen Butterflies, Turtles,Swans,Toucan, Monkey,Squirrels, Monitor lizard ,lizards ,different types of trees and small plants and flowers.

The increase of plant diversity made parks more attractive because there is more greenery, the trees and leaves can provide shelter on rainy days and provide more food resources like fruits and water for the animals like fish and monkeys.

I went to botanical garden. It was so beautiful. I like the smell of the flowers and the tall tree .I also liked how they put the background.

I have actually only been to East Cost Park. I have seen many plants like lush green trees. I have really only seen birds or insects like small animals. The increase in plant diversity made parks more attractive to wildlife by providing food sources, habitat. Creating a more thriving ecosystem.

I have only been to East Coast park , botanical garden and Bangsawan park. I saw many butter flys and birds it was a fun experience to cycle there . These parks has attracted many wild lifes as it is a good living environment for wild lifes

I have visited a park in Singapore called Sungei Buloh, there all sorts of different animals and plants there. It was an enjoyable experience. I can’t wait to visit other parks. The more plants there are, the more wildlife is lives there. In my opinion, we should grow more plants so wildlife can live with ease.

I have been to a park before. The name of the park is East Coast Park. I went to East Coast Park because it is very close to my house 🏠 . It is so close I can even go there when I am bored. The animals I’ve seen in this park are 2 big spiders. They were almost as big as my hand. I also saw a lot of squirrels and some sea otters .They look so cute ☺️.

In my experience I only went to one park in my life and it was East Coast Park it was very nice there and you can see the sea view from there I didn’t see alot of animals there but there was birds at least there was birds it was a fun time there and hope I can go back and go to more parks in the future.

I have been to many parks in Singapore. Some examples are Bukit Timah nature reserve, Central Catchment Nature Reserve and the Sungai Buloh Nature Reserve. I saw the pied imperial pigeon ,oriental white eye and kingfishers.

In Singapore, I have visited multiple parks. I have visited Botanic Gardens, East Coast Park, West Coast Park and Admiralty Park. All these parks were beautiful and rich in biodiversity. There were lots of plants and animals, such as squirrels and birds. I also saw many interesting plants, like one which had leaves bigger than my body.

The increase in biodiversity helps all the animals and plants in these beautiful parks. The biodiversity has made the parks more attractive to wildlife and has helped them to live better. For example, some small birds are attracted to plants for nectar, nuts and berries. If there were no plants, some of these animals might die out.

The same is for plants. Some animals help to pollinate the plant and some may also help to disperse the plants seeds. If these animals do not pollinate the plant or disperse their seeds, the plant may become endangered and be at the risk of becoming extinct.

Many parks have lots of biodiversity. But many of them also have trash from humans. This may harm the animals because some animals will think that the trash is food and eat it. this will harm their digestive system. We always dispose our trash in the correct places.

For me, I have been to East Coast Park, Siglap Linear Park, Jurassic Park, Park Connecter and Nature Reserve Park. This is all the parks I have been to. I have seen butterflies, fire ants, ants, some animals that I don’t even know the name. The increase of plant diversity helps the park to make more food and fruits to attract more wildlife and to make the park much more interesting so other people can find out about animals they have never seen before

I have been to East Coast Park, Admiralty Park , Punggol Park, Katong park and Botanical Gardens along with MacRitchie Reservoir.These places have a few things in common, first of all the all have trees and are homes to animals,and they children and adults alike enjoy them.

In my experience I have visited 3 parks, East Coast Park, Bedok Town Park,Bedok Reservoir.

At Bedok Town Park, I saw a family of chickens. The baby chickens look so cute ☺️😊. At Bedok Reservoir I saw some turtles and fish in the reservoir. At East Coast Park, I saw a huge bee. I hope the wonderful parks will resume to thrive

I’ve been to many parks in my life, such as East Coast Park, Siglap linear park, Singapore Botanic Gardens and obviously, Gardens by the bay. Each of these gardens has their own unique style. Out of all of these parks, East Coast Park takes the cake. It has a variety of different outdoor and indoor activities. It has a beach with rock platforms, A playground where I can invite people to hang out, some food stores and more! But East Coast Park does not have any interesting animals. Same for Gardens By The Bay. But Gardens By The Bay has A massive collection of plants and flowers. I think it even has the Vanda Miss Joaquim, Singapore’s national flower! Now for The Botanic Gardens. I did some research, I found that it is actually a UNESCO world heritage site! Which means the site is considered to be of exceptional importance to humanity, isn’t that crazy? I think these gardens are very important to the ecosystem, especially because of current climate change. These gardens save many, many animal’s lives by giving them a diverse selection of food and shelter to survive, creating a thriving ecosystem for all, even us! These plants also inhale carbon dioxide and exhale oxygen into the atmosphere, keeping us alive, so these plants help us to survive too! Overall, these parks not only give animals a second chance, but they also let us see a beautiful variety of flora and fauna

Singapore shoud add the Rafflesia plant and did you know that the rafflesia plant is called the death plant for it emits a vile aroma, similar to rotten meat, attracting insects, such as flies and beetles, that feed on dead flesh.
