Step-by-Step Plan:

1. Warm-up (5 minutes):

Teacher says:
“Today we are going to learn about England! What do you know about England? Do you know any English food or music?”

Let students say a few words or ideas they already know.

2. Presentation (10 minutes):

Show the images or flashcards and introduce each concept:

🟢 Fish and Chips – “It is a popular food in England. People eat fried fish and chips (French fries).”
🟢 Big Ben – “Big Ben is a famous clock in London.”
🟢 Afternoon Tea – “People drink tea and eat cakes or sandwiches at 4 o’clock.”
🟢 The Queen’s Guard – “These are the soldiers in red and black hats. They guard the King’s or Queen’s house.”
🟢 Red London Bus – “It is a big red bus. It has two floors!”
🟢 Football (Soccer) – “Football is very popular in England.”

Optionally, play a short audio of a British band (30 seconds).

3. Activity – Worksheet (10 minutes):

Part A: Match the picture to the name.
(Students match vocabulary to images.)

Part B: Complete the sentences.
Example:
