I also remember playing football at the street soccer court every weekend, 4 hours at a time. After years of playing football for many years, I have started taking this sport more seriously.
I believe that pursuing sport science will allow me to achieve my football goals much faster and easier, as i will be able to not just train hard, but also use whatever i have learnt from the course and put it into my training, hence allowing me to train smarter.

As I grew older, I learnt different pieces and realised that there is a huge variety of melodies that I can play just from a few keys ranging from the lowest pitch to the highest pitch. Playing a piano also gave me a better understanding of music and allowed me to enjoy music, as both a form of stress relief and the sound the piano produces when I hear other people play it.

Although I am not part of a performing arts CCA in my school, I believe that I am able to succeed in taking this pathway from my personal experience and my passion for playing the piano. That all changed when I joined student council. The starting was a struggle, a hurdle I had to pass but I was able to conquer it all. 

As a trainee councillor, I was able to understand that being superior what not the definition of a leader. Instead, it was that I had to take initiative and be patient. Open-minded. Responsible. Fair. Respectful. Teamwork. I had started to equip myself with these skills and successfully join student council. 

Upon entering student council, I felt like being thrown into a sea and I had to survive it. With help from my seniors in the council, I was able to plan and execute everything I was assigned with quite well. I would not say everything was perfect, but the mistakes made helped to shape me to be a better leader.

In secondary 3, I was given a position in the Student Council Executive Committee, particularly a division head. This was a whole new experience for me as the responsibilities and expectations increased. At first, it was very difficult, many mistakes were made and lot of feedback was given. This made me realise that I had to step up and be a role model, not a superior but someone that they would look up to and aspire to be. At times being harmonious and sometimes having conflicts, the community is always differing. my interest started when i was 5 yrs old when my neighbour was being unfair.  Such a small issue evolved into a big issue when the police got involved in it. despite going for mediation talks, tension was still present. it made me wonder why the problems couldn't be solved, thus sparking my curiosity.
