<title>Today our subject is listening. We have learned ed puzzle application for listening activities. It was very effective app.Because you can not only listening but also speaking and writing while answering the questions. Also we have learned Veen Diagram for categorizing topics. We decide which category should be and then we place them in the diagram. For active listening we do some exercises and learn how our learning will be permanent by focusing on listening.</title>

<title>1- I live in Fethiye(touristic area)So my students need to speak English in Fethiye a lot.But unfortunately we focus on grammar and accuracy because of our curriculum and our ministry of education policy.Because our eight grade sts will have LGS exam.My sts focus on this exam.So they dont want to spend time for listening. 2- I think the ideas or suggestions I have taken away from today can help I cope with that particular problem.Because I will use flipgrid application. So my sts both will enjoy and learn topics well thanks to this app.</title>

<title>1- I find that flipped classroom can be very useful for reading classes in my context. I have learned that flipping a classroom gives me the opportunity to do more creative activities with students and give follow up activities as a homework. Now that the technology can be incorporated into teaching and learning and as its more affordable these days flipped classroom seems suitable for my classroom as well. 2- I think my colleagues would find flipped classroom idea most useful to solve common problems in teaching reading in my context. The flipped classroom is as an educational technique that consists of two parts; group learning activities inside the classroom and direct computer based individual instruction outside classroom. Using flipped classroom we benefit from having much more time for group and pair works. All we have to is to manage a central repository including references such as podcasts, links, blogs, quizzes, videos, articles, apps etc.If known by colleguages this technique would make our classrooms much more fun, student oriented and effective. 🎉From today session I liked Nilay,Yılmaz,Buket and Büşra&#39;s ppt the most.In my opinion it was well organized and effective activity. It was also good sample of flipped classroom activity.</title>

<title>I think changing writing instructions would be most useful in my context. As we can adopt writing into process or snack writing.I believe that thanks to this method sts feel tbemselves more relaxed.2- I think my collegues would be most interested in group work and peer work correction exploring in a PDC meeting focusing on writing. When we use peer and group work in our lesson for writing activity we would reenforce and inspire our sts into writing</title>

<title>GRAMMAR: 1- I think the teacher should combined with implicit activities(inductive) and explicit ( deductive) activities in language classroom for grammar sessions in my area. Because there are different level of students in our classes.Implicit activities make the lesson more memorable and meaningful for all learners. Students discover the grammar rules for themselves rather than be led to them and helps them understanding for their own time. With explicit activities we can teach grammar through a traditional presentation, practice, production method. In these activities consist of grammar point through elicitation, concept checking and consolidation of the form and pronunciation. It is time/energy saving method and easy to apply. 2- I think my colleagues would want to discuss the details of freer, guided and controlled activities in PDC meetings. All grammar activities focus on the target language but I believe the choice of grammar activity will depend on the level of our learners, stage of the lessson and our focus on accuracy or fluency. I believe making grammar activities freer and guided instead of controlled ones should be prioritised.Because these methods focus on fluency and student oriented, memorable and meaningful. VOCABULARY: I think the most effective vocabulary teaching suggestion in today&#39;s session for language classrooms in my area is teaching related words seperately rather than working on them all together. Because categorizing and sub categorizing the words at different times make students recall and personalise them with ease.Otherwise students may not be able to recall them apart as Scott Thornbury said. 2- In my classroom I can make use of vocabulary notebooks to support learner autonomy and vocabulary acquisition. I believe that the vocabulary notebooks are effective tool that can be implemented in my classroom. I ask my students to include in a vocabulary notebook some details such as; Write the word/ phrase and its definition and parts of speech.Use your own words.Look up the usage of the word online.Write your own sentence using the word.Review the words as many times as you can to personalise them.I think the vocabulary is the core of learning and it is best learned by writing.</title>

<title>Q1- I believe the greatest benefit of being in a PDC for teacher of English is to colloborate in my local context. As we are from the same context,we have similar problems in our schools and we can exchange our good practises and find solutions together Q2- We can set up new and common goals with our collagues. Moreover we can engage them with the whole PDC pps.We can share ideas and experinces throughout the process. Q3- To be have in the programme would help we deal with possible problems because I believe that I&#39;ve learned a lot, refreshed myself and these practises will lead to have successful PDCs in my local context.</title>
