In general, I would guess somewhere in Asia. More specifically, I would guess Japan, specifically based on the mention of superheroes. Additionally, I've seen many documentaries discussing the long lives of people in Japan.

I've had to do counseling sessions for leadership classes.
Roleplaying can be used for a number of things, but the primary use we've found is for practicing presentations to senior leadership - someone plays the role of the senior leader.

Although it wasn't quite role-playing but it was a simulated situation where we were made to experience different sensory disabilities/ light, sound, touch to better understand sensory issues children with autism may experience. We had to do work with loud noise or extreme bright lights on our papers.
The training fostered empathy and made me understand the unseen struggles students with particular disabilities have. Trainings that offer "hands-on" or scenario based learning are very effective for me as I am able to step outside of my comfort zone and experience things through the eyes of others.

I believe the country is Japan. The reasoning for this conclusion is because of Clues 1 and 2, but mainly 2. I am familiar with the great attraction that brings millions of tourists in the spring to see the blossoming of the Sakura tree!

I encountered role-playing when learning how to use a register at my retail job. We had to partner with a co-worker and go through a check-out procedure. We each got to act as the customer, while the other was the cashier.
A way I can incorporate role-playing is by having co-workers split where half are customers, and half are observers. The observers can listen and take notes about the habits of the 'customers.' After, as a group, everyone can come up with solutions or ideas to make the experience for customers better.

I am guessing this country is Monaco and I can say I am only guessing this because of my Geography and History background.

1) Monaco has the highest life expectancy (Funny story, I just argued about this with someone)

2) The country is known for carnations and has some wonderful gardens and caves that are major tourist attractions

3) Hercules! Greeks, Gods, and adventures...oh my! It's believed that Hercules used Monaco as a stop and he has a temple dedicated to him one of its cities (I can not remember which one...or the name of the temple -_-).

1) In my own educational experience I have limited exposure to role-play. Being of an older generation, my teachers tended to have more traditional approaches to education, such as lecturing and taking notes. In my teaching experience, I have been VERY select about when I allow students to role-play. There are certain subjects that I would NEVER allow this sort of activity for, such as Civil Rights, the Holocaust, etc. You have to be really careful with how this is done when teaching certain subjects/topics in order to avoid insensitivity and taking away from the heavy weight of the topic. However, one role-play I have used year-after-year was a "bar fight" (I had to rename it to a cafe fight...insert eye roll here) which broke down the events leading up to World War I.

2) In my current role, I think the main way I would/could implement role play would be during professional development where either 1) I'm trying to provide training on how to use role-playing in the classroom, or 2) I'm trying to use it as a way to introduce a learning concept/approach.

I would guess the Netherlands. Most Nordic countries score high in overall happiness. They are known for their Tulips in the spring, and you have Norse mythology which were the inspiration for many Marvel superheroes.

In undergrad, while training to become a teacher, we would role-play giving assessments, specifically for reading and literacy. One person would play as the student and another as the teacher.
As an ELAR teacher, I use role-playing all the time. We just read, "Lamb to the Slaughter", and students had to roleplay as either the prosecutors or defendants in the murder trial for the protagonist.

I believe it can either be Japan or Greece. I recently saw a documentary on Netflix called Secrets of the Blue Zones and both countries were mentioned.

My TBRI (Trust Based Behavioral Intervention) practitioner training involved tons of role-play to ensure that we were able to apply the skills we were taught.

When I teach TBRI we participate in several role-playing scenarios as well to ensure that our learners can practice and implement the skills we are teaching.
