For my work experience I went to a primary school, it wasn't really to do with media but I still had fun and learned a lot. On the first day I started at 8:30, first I got showed around an shown to the class I was in and met the teachers. I helped out sorting out the class and when the children came in they took the register. After it was time to some reading, and I was asked to sit with a girl and help her with her reading, I helped her sound out words she was stuck on.later on we ran through the play that they were going to perform and practiced singing. it was the same almost every day but some of the lessons were different, i helped the children read, work on their maths and art projects. my time there was educational and i learned a lot about working with children.

For my 30 hours of work experience i went to Envy Post, a post production house in London. This company specialises in the post production area of media which means i got to see people working on online/offline editing, audio and colour grading. Completing work experience at this company was very helpful as it gave me an idea of what its really like in a work environment.WHilst at this company i did a number of different things such as sit in with various editors, tape running, making tea and coffee and going and fetching lunch for the editors.
