As a person, I know myself as someone who is lazy, immediately angered, and a sucker for compliments but because I do not want other people to think of me as such and as a social animal myself, it is unavoidable that I would internalize how others think and see me. Through studying, my classmates, my parents, and other people complimented me, and although hard and challenging to put out a front, I never had the courage to stop the masks I put on the front stages. 

However, during this pandemic, I have learned that pleasing other people by only displaying my front stage masks is unacceptable and unfair for me and for other people who want to know me better. 

The identity of people is an interactional process and the view of ourselves will be continuously molded and constructed the more we form a relationship with other people.
