         <description><![CDATA[<p>This analysis reviewed the effectiveness of child-centered play therapy for emotional and behavioral concerns in young children. The participants varied from children in school and early intervention settings. The quantitative results showed a significant improvement, particularly in emotional expression and behavior. The findings of this study support play therapy and show that it is an evidence based cousneloing interveiton for early childhood counselors. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>This study provided an overview of play therapy as a developmentally appropriate counseling approach for young children. The study included clinical examples and a qualitative analysis of clients' first-hand experiences. The book placed strong emphasis on the therapeutic relationship and emotional safety. This work supported the view that PLA therapy should be a primary intervention for LPCs working in early childhood populations. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>This study focused on outcomes of child-centered play therapy from multiple studies. The participants in the study were young children receiving counseling for emotional and behavioral concerns. Quantitative studies showed positive results of emotional regulation and behavior from this approach. The study added to the support of play therapy as a research-supported method for early childhood clients. </p>]]></description>

The authors of the study reveied exposiure of trauma in early childhood. They also had a major focus on the role of counselors and early intervention in supporting emotional regulation. The study used a qualitative review of existing research. The findings of this study highlighted the importance of trauma-informed counseling in early childhood. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>This study used both quantitative data and intervention-based data to examine attachment-focused counseling strategies for infants and toddlers. The participants in this study included infants and toddlers who had been exposed to adversity. Young children and caregivers were also involved in early intervention programs. The results of the study demonstrated improved attachment behaviors and supported attachment, mental health-based counseling approaches for early childhood settings. </p>]]></description>
