         <title> Frederick Miescher - 1871 : A material was found in the cell nucleus by Swiss physician and scientist Frederick Miescher in 1869. Nuclein was the term given to this material because it was later discovered to contain DNA. The discovery made by Miescher served as the starting point for research into the chemical makeup of genetic material.</title>

         <title>Frederick Griffith- 1928 : Frederick Griffith conducted an experiment in 1928 in which he showed that a virulent strain of Streptococcus pneumoniae could transfer its virulence to a non-virulent strain. They demonstrated that DNA is the component of the phage that conveys genetic information by demonstrating that the radioactive isotopes of phosphorus and sulfur were integrated into the bacteria.</title>
