He mainly paints street art and is the author of several graffiti of the East Side Gallery. He works in the duo of artists Vrubel+Timofeeva, the second person of the duo being his wife, Viktoria Timofeeva. He makes graffiti and he is a artist and painter.
This painting "My god help me to survive this mortal love" was painted on the wall of berlin in 1990. It measures 365*480 cm. This work of art is inspired by a photography taken by Régis BOSSU on October, 7th, 1979 for the 30th birthday of the creation of the RDA. On the left side, we can see Leonid Brejnev how was the leader of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and on the right side Erich Honecker, leader of the RDA. Let's look at the bottom of the fresco, there is written "My god help me to survive this mortal love". In addition we can see that the background is blue. This painting evokes the submission of East Germany to Russian politics. It also represents the shocking of Germany which can't survive this submission. In Russia the kissing on the mouth is a mark of friendship rather than love.
You don't find it weird to see two men kissing ? According to me this is really not common, especially at the time however the painter managed to overside the criticism.

The Armoured Dove

Famous figure of the English street art, Banksy is a painter refusing celebrity and therefore wanting to remain anonymous. Since 1993 his works have appeared on the walls and in the museums. Banksy has created many paintings on the wall of separation between Israel and Palestine in 2006. He is a commited artist.
One of the best known is "The Armoured Dove" which was made with a stencil. We can see a wall riddled with bullets and in the middle a white dove in flight. She carries an olive branch in the beak and a bulletproof vest. Look closely, her heart is threatened by a sniper shot. Do you know what is the symbol of the white dove ? This represents the peace and liberty. Banksy call on international community to respond to the usefulness of the barrier which seek to protect but which divides and isolates civilian population.
He has made other works as "Girl with balloons" and "Girl searching a soldier". I think that we must admire these persons which risk their lives to defend causes.

In 2006 Blu create street art and animated video at the same time. His first artworks denounce the capitalist society after he want's to show the evolution of the world (humans and nature). He paints enormous humans in the historic center in Bologne (Italy).
He works with many famous artists like Dem, Sweza and especially Ericailcane. Ericailcane draws lots of animals and Blu lots humans : they mix animals and humans.
He travels in all the world ans he paints in many towns (cities)
He is famous for his video " Muto" it is a succession of his paintings succeed at an animation.

The paintings is in Belgrade in Serbia. The mural is painted on a block of flats. I notice that the eyes are crosses. We can see that the teeth are some blocks of flats. The person represented has a big mouth and a lot of teeth. In his hand, he is holding a tree. Indeed the person is eating this tree. The thing the most important is in the middle it is the mouth. The painting is very realistic. There is one sad color: the grey. The part with the tree is realised on another wall that the person, it do on purpose.

As we can see the man who is eatong a tree and the teeth in the shape of block of flats, we can deduce that in lot of countries the deforestation is present and they cut trees to build many other blocks of flat.
The aim of this painting of BLU is denounce the deforestation in all the world. If people no change their beahavior concerning the nature, in the future the blocks of flats will have overruned in all the world and the vegetation will have disappeared. Per haps the artist wanted to convey impression of save the nature.

I think the photographer is very talented because the painting is a very realistic representation of the world. I appreciate artworks of BLu because all of his paintings denounce the bad evolution of the planet.Specific artworks of BLU are shocking and other humorous.

EZK :

The document is a painting who is entitled « Dans quel monde Vuitton ? » and it was draw by Ezk, a french graffiti artist. Wecan find his artwork in different places in France.

The painting is simple, in black and white and there are not much things drawing on this. That not represents an especially place.

It’s divided into two parts :

On the right side,we can see the visual. It represents a little boy who is verythin, we perceive his bones under his skin. It shows that he is poor.

Maybe he is an african. He is sitting in a bucket. On it, we can see the logo of a luxury brand : Louis Vuitton.

On the left of the visual, there is the slogan « Dans quel monde Vuitton ? » The brand is writing in capital letter and the rest in lowercase.

At the bottom there is the signature of the artist « EZKSTREETART » and the name of his collection « Art againstpoverty »

The first aim of the artist’s visual is not to criticizes important spending in luxury brand, or in products we don’t really need, then there are people who need money to have the vital needs, but the aim is to create a reflexion in the mind of viewers and provoke a question : « where are you situate ? », in other words, what can you buy with your money ? How many money have you ?

He probably wants to highlight the fact that everybody can’t buy what they want, what they dream to have.

This drawing inspire pity and sadness because we understand that somewhere else in the world, there are people, children who lives in incorrect situation, without home, without foods and water and many other things.

I think it is interesting the way that the artist reroute luxury brands to convey a message and create a contrast with hisvisual.

My interpretation of this painting is that we have to appreciate what we have because many other people dreams to live your life, people be able to remember that there is poverty in the world, and itis a way to show to people that they have to stop complain and enjoy life

Birgit Kinder is a street artist, specialized in the mural painting. She was born in 1962 after the construction of the Berliner wall in Thurengue. In 1982, in Berlin she begin her career. Birgit painted her artwork with pincel, spraypaint . She was never arrested because she was on the right side so she was free to paint. Birgit started painting to criticize some aspects of society, mostly the goverment of the RDA. She has painting this artwork Test The Best. See all the painting, it represents a light colored car crossing a wall on a blue background. Take a moment to look, you only see the front of the car, at the wheel you see a shadow. The car is a Traban, the most popular car in 70's-80's in Germany. The wall crossed by the car is symbolically that of Berlin. The Trabant leaves a dark place the East of Germany to go to a clear place the West of Germany. On the license plate what do you notice? It corresponds to the date of the fall of the wall and the person behind the wheel symbolizes the people of the East. The Trabant broke the wall and has no scratch after the shock to say that the revolution of the fall of the wall is done without violence. To conclude, we can say that it breaks the hut. To my mind Birgit is a committed artist because she criticize the goverment while the political context is dense. Take another artwork of Birgit and some of her artworks are committed. Banksy is an anonymous England graffiti artist. Because he is anonymous we do not know much about him . He paint his artwork with stencil because it’s faster and he has time for finish or job other he can to be arrested. He started paintind in 1998. This painting are often commited ,poetic or dark humor like the Naked Man. In the middle we can notice a window with a man and a girl who look out the window. Below this window we can see another man who he is suspendind. Take a moment to look at this man. He is nude and if you look good the girl is in underwear maybe the woman deceive her husband with the suspending man. Indeed the husband searching somebody and in her face we can see a furious look.In my opinion, the painting is very funny and maybe shows some cliche of the human. We can see this artwork in the Park Street in Bristol.

The document who we will talking is a painting, this painting is entitled « The fishing kill the world ». It was publish in 2006 and draw by Julian Beever. Julian Beever is one of the kings of anamorphism. He was born in 1959 at Cheltenham, he is an artist Britannic. He become known from 1990. For 10 years and through the sidewalks of the world, it impresses the crowd and subdues passers-by. This projection technique that mixes optical illusion and 3D printing is totally mastered by this British. Here is a small selection of his trompe l'oeil made with chalk.I present the painting:As you can see, there are two colours that dominate, the light blue and the white. It puts us in a relaxing atmosphere. Bring us closer and look closely the painting. Look closely, in this painting we can see in the foreground a tail of a whale which cough by a fishing rod, one feels the scared whale through the movement of her tail. In the middle ground, there are a lot of packed ice we can deduce that it is the whale that destroyed it and the ice is not really resistant. A man is seating on a piece of ice with his fishing box. The man probably represents the whaling ship who cough a very big whale. As you can see the whale was cough by the fishing rod, the painter want to denounce through this caricature the overfishing and the danger that this represents. This painting can denounce too the global warming with the piece of ice which are destroyed, it's very dangerous for the Human and want to denounce this.To conclude: the global warming and overfishing destroyed our world and this painting denounce these subjects. He denounce perfectly this with humour To reach a wider audience. The public will remember this image more than leaflets.

Stain by Pejac

Spanish street artist Pejac calls this one "Stain." Here, he's working on this powerful piece in 2011. His work is an ephemeral painting. We don’t know where the painting was drawn but it can be everywhere in the world because we can see the entire world is represented on this work. It takes place in the street because we can see the gutter in which the world flows into this as if the world was nothing just a « Stain » to be erased. Why the artist draw this in black and white? Because the pollution, the wastewater are black.

The purpose of this tag is to alert citizens to the current situation of the world, the importance of the impacts of waste and pollution that gradually leads to global warming and worldwide destruction of the environment. I think this tag is a conformist representation of the reality even if few people see it. And you, do you think that it’s important to represent this sort of worldwide problem?

It can persuade the viewer that the drawing is real. This art look like a graffiti but in more beautiful because we can see all over the street like the ground, the wall, the benches or the bins. He plays with our perspective to see the world because when your gaze at the drawing he seems to be in 3D but when you walk on he is on 2D, so it's very amusing and stunning almost magic.

Bansky is a street artist very mysterious, even tho he is very famous, he’s real identity has never been revealed. We imagine that he came of Bristol, in England. He was born in 1974 and begin the graff in the 80’s after having his diploma of butcher. But it’s between 1992 and 1994 that he start to graff in the aim of win money, in a group named Bristol’s DrybreadZ Crew (DBZ), wher he was assisting the two artist Kato and Tes. From the beginning of his career, he use an original combination of stencils and wrintings because he says that he doesn’t really love the classic spray.
In 2004, he paint ‘’the anarchist rat” in Sloane Square in London. Bansky is very inspired by the rat and seems often associate them to the Human. He often illustrate them , in all possible scenario. The anarchist rat shows a standing rat, holding a sign on wich an anarchistic sign is registered. Simply. The anarchism aim is developping a society without domination and without exploitation, where the individual producers cooperate freely. This artwork shows probably a revolt of the animals wich are fed up with it to be exploit. It’s my opinion and I think it is also the one of Bansky.
To conclude, I reaaly like Bansky because I really like street art and humor and he is combines the two with a lot of talent and creativity. In addition, he use scene and things of everyday life like when a policeman arrest Mario because he think that their mushrooms are drug.

This document is a painting, this painting has no title, painted on the wall of a school in 2014, the artist is Paulo Ito. Paulo Itowent art schoolatUnicamp in Campinas. He began to paint on the street in 2000,Especiallyafterjoining the team Aprendiz Graffiti. His first series of graffiti goes back to 1997. His last work has made much talk on social networks.
The artwork of Sao Paulo has been share more than 50 000 times of facebook. She denounces injustice of Brasil, where sport has become more important than survival of the people of the country. We enter in the controversy. The artist said aloud what others think, there where the voice of the people has no impact on the way of its leaders. Once again, it's an invitation to reflection. It's a message that accused, and so a message that bothers. The street artist takes a look at the society that surrounds it and the 'judge' in some ways by his art.

To conclude, I like Paulo Ito because I like the street art and he is an artist who speaks of everyday life and social inequalities. It is subject who are really proud for me, so I find my self in these artwork.

Welcome in our street art museum. You will find works from the entire world. Our best one was drawn by Smug. He is a talented English street artist. His works are huge and look like it is a photo. He often draws people and adds humor but he also creates dead works. He started painting at the age of 11. He is based in Glasgow. This picture represents a man. He is wearing a red woolly hat and a raincoat. We can easily imagine that the man is poor because he has a long hair and a not shaved beard, he looks dirty. Look closely in the lower left hand corner; we can see his right hand which has a dressing on one of the fingers. There is a robin on the man’s forefinger and another one behind him in the upper right hand corner. He seems to be happy. I think that if the world rejects him, the nature accepts everyone and it makes him smile. To my mind, street art revamp cities. Some works are masterpieces, it makes people enjoy walking outside but some street artists are just writing their names, it is ugly and it degrades street artist's image. Thank you for visiting our museum. Don't forget the shop!!!

In this room you can see a Bansky’s work. He is known for this work: flower thrower. He started panting when he was 18. He always uses stencils for his works. On this picture we can see a man who is wearing a sweat shirt which hides his mouth and his nose. His cap is back to front. You can expect him to throw a grenade but we can notice that he holds a bunch of flowers so we can suppose that the artist denounces war and weapons. The painting is black and white except the flowers which are colorful. It represents peace as war. This painting shows a message in opposition with violence. This is why the man is colorless. We can find it on a wall in Jerusalem. Art has positives aspects like feeling emotions because of the beauty of the painting. Hope you spent good time in our museum. See you soon.
