Hi it’s Miep, i’ve never had a diary before but I see Anne writing in hers all the time so I decided to give it a try. I feel really bad for everyone but especially Anne. She’s a young growing girl and I fear she might be to much to handle for them all, especially Peter he is a very shy boy. I told everyone I was going to get ration books and Mrs.Frank freaked out said that it was illegal and that she’d never done something illegal and I promised her it wasn’t. I hope everyone is situated and don’t get into fights that often, and I bet that if they do start fighting that Anne will be in the center of it. She is a very mercurial and rambunctious girl. Mr.Frank keeps saying that he can’t thank us enough and he owes us a lot but I think that we are his friends and he doesn’t owe us anything.
