The conflict in "Strangers On A Train" is the man vs self because Guy throughout the story is battling with the guilt of the things he's done. It's ruined his emotional well-being and the relationships he once had.

The theme that is consistent throughout the book is the theme of the double. When Bruno murders Miriam he doesn't feel guilty like he should he feels a sense of accomplishment. Where as when Guy murders Bruno's father he's immediately filled with guilt.

A song that represents my book would be Ain't No Rest For the Wicked. It relates to my book because it's about people committing crimes to benefit from it. The murders in the book were committed because it would benefit Guy and Bruno if Miriam and Bruno's father weren't in their lives anymore
