My biggest influences and inspirations are my family, especially my parents. They’ve worked hard and made sacrifices to give us a better life, and that motivates me to do my best. Even when things are tough, they stay strong, and that teaches me to be strong too. My parents always remind me of the value of hard work, responsibility, and love. I’m also inspired by people who stay kind and positive even when life is hard. Whether it’s a teacher who encourages me, a friend who listens, or someone I look up to online who shares their struggles honestly, those people remind me that it’s okay to be real and to keep going no matter what. Lastly, I find inspiration in stories from movies, books, or even Barbie films I grew up watching. They may seem simple, but many of them show courage, friendship, and following your dreams, which still inspire me today. These people and stories remind me to believe in myself, keep trying, and stay kind even in difficult times.

My philosophy in life is to "Don't stop, even when the road gets tough". I believe that life will always have challenges, but those challenges help us grow and become stronger. Even when I feel tired, stressed, or unsure of myself, I remind myself not to give up. I believe in being kind not just to others, but also to myself. It’s okay to make mistakes, to feel sad sometimes, or not to have everything figured out. What matters is that I try my best and learn from every experience. I also think it’s important to stay true to who I am. I don’t want to change just to please others. I want to follow my path and hold on to the things that make me happy and unique. I find joy in small things, like my favorite blanket or watching my favorite movies, and I believe those little moments are just as important as big achievements. Life isn’t about being perfect, it’s about growing, learning, and moving forward with hope and courage. That’s what I try to live by every day.

Everyone has little things that make them unique, and I have a few fun facts about myself that not many people know. One of them is that I sometimes imagine movie scenes in my head based on how I’m feeling. It’s like I’m creating my own story or film, and it helps me express emotions in a creative way. It may sound funny, but it makes me feel like the main character in my own life. Another thing is that I’ve always wanted to learn how to play a musical instrument or try painting. I haven’t had the chance yet, but it’s something I hope to do one day. I love the idea of expressing myself through music or art. I also have a soft spot for Barbie movies. I’ve watched almost all of them more than once! Even though they’re made for kids, they bring me comfort, joy, and a sense of nostalgia. They remind me of my childhood and the simple things that made me happy. Lastly, I still have my favorite blanket with me. I’ve had it since I was five years old, and I still sleep with it. It may seem childish to some, but for me, it brings comfort and a feeling of safety. It’s a part of my past that I still hold close. These small things may not seem important to others, but they are a big part of who I am. They remind me to stay true to myself and hold on to the things that make me happy.

One of my future goals is to travel around the world with my future partner. I think it would be so fun and meaningful to share those adventures with someone I love. I’d love to visit places like Paris for the romantic vibes, South Korea for the street food and culture, Switzerland for the stunning views, and Bali for relaxing on the beach. We could go hiking in the mountains, try all kinds of local street food, visit museums, and just enjoy getting lost in beautiful places together. It honestly sounds like the best kind of dream. But for now, I’m focusing on what matters most, finishing college. My biggest goal right now is to graduate, find a good job, and be in a position where I can support my younger siblings with their education and future. I know it might not always be easy. There are days when I feel tired, overwhelmed, or uncertain, and I face battles that no one else sees, but I will keep going, because I have a purpose. I believe all these sacrifices and sleepless nights will be worth it one day. One day, I’ll look back and feel proud not just of the places I’ve been, but of how far I’ve come. Until then, I’ll keep dreaming, working hard, and holding on to hope that something beautiful is waiting for me at the end of this journey.

These challenges have helped me become more mature, responsible, and emotionally strong. As the second child but the first daughter, I naturally took on the role of caring for my younger siblings and being someone they could look up to. The pressure from my parents to do well taught me discipline and focus. It wasn’t always easy, but it helped me build resilience and keep going, even during hard times. Facing silent struggles like anxiety and self-doubt also made me more understanding toward others. I’ve learned that everyone has their battles, even if they don’t show it. Most importantly, these experiences taught me to never give up. True growth comes from facing challenges, and they’ve inspired me to work hard for a better future for myself and my family.

One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced is having a lot of responsibilities at a young age. As the second child but the eldest daughter in my family, I had to grow up fast and take on roles like what adults do. I help at home and try my best to support my younger siblings, all while being a student and a role model. I also feel a lot of pressure from my parents to do well. They expect me to succeed in school, make the right choices, and set a good example. I know they want what’s best for me, but it can be a lot to handle especially when I have my own doubts and worries. I’ve gone through quiet struggles too, like self-doubt, anxiety, and fear of failing. Sometimes, I have to stay strong on the outside even when things are hard inside. But through it all, I’ve learned that real strength isn’t always loud it’s about not giving up, even when things are tough or unclear.

Some of my proudest accomplishments aren't about big awards, but the personal milestones I’ve reached. One of them is staying focused on my studies while handling responsibilities at home. It hasn’t always been easy, but I’ve worked hard to keep moving forward, even when it felt overwhelming. I’m also proud of being a role model for my younger siblings. They look up to me, and that pushes me to be better every day. I want to show them that with hard work, anything is possible. One accomplishment that means a lot to me is making it to the honors and earning my grandmother’s pride before she passed away. Even though she’s no longer here, I carry that moment with me. It reminds me of how much I’ve accomplished, and it motivates me to keep going.

One of my greatest hobbies is watching movies. I enjoy all kinds of films, from fantasy and horror to romance and comedy. Movies offer a wonderful escape, allowing me to experience different emotions and stories. Along with watching movies, I also love listening to music, especially when I’m doing everyday tasks like washing dishes, cleaning the house, or writing notes. Music has a way of helping me relax, focus, and make those chores more enjoyable. Another hobby I’m passionate about is dancing, especially festival dances. I love how dancing allows me to express myself and connect with the rhythm of the music. It’s an energetic and joyful way to celebrate, and I always feel uplifted when I dance. I also have a strong love for reading. Novels, particularly in genres like fantasy, adventure, sci-fi, and magical realism, are my go-to. These books let me escape into different worlds, sparking my imagination and providing me with fresh perspectives. Reading allows me to explore endless possibilities and keeps me inspired.

I studied and completed my primary education at Tabuelan Central Elementary School. Back then, I was a bubbly, active, and participative kid. It was during these years that I began joining various competitions Math Sayaw, jingle contests, and more. It was such a fun and exciting year for me, full of learning and new experiences. For my secondary education, I studied and completed both junior high school and senior high school at Juan Pamplona National High School. During these years, I met many new friends and continued joining various school competitions and activities. I also served as one of the COMELEC officers in our school, which helped me grow as a student leader. This is also when I began aiming for academic honors and I’m proud to say I achieved it. I was a consistent honor student from Grade 7 to Grade 12. Along the way, I received several certificates of participation, and I graduated as one of the Lead Researcher awardees. Now, I’m in my tertiary education, currently studying at Cebu Technological University - Tuburan Campus. I’m a second-year student under the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management program. I’m proud to say that I’m still achieving the goals I set for myself back in high school. I’ve been a Dean’s Lister since my first year both first and second semesters and I’m grateful to still hold that status in the first semester of my second year. Honestly, it feels unbelievable considering the challenges and difficulties we’ve faced, especially during the first semester. As for the current second semester, it’s uncertain, but I remain hopeful.

Tabuelan is a coastal municipality in northwestern Cebu, known for its serene beaches and agricultural livelihood.

I’m Kamain, but some of my friends call me Mon, Mamon, or Kamkam. I’m an ambivert kind of person. I enjoy spending time with others, especially when I’m with people I’m close to, but I also deeply value quiet moments alone where I can reflect, recharge, or simply enjoy my own space. I was born on October 1, 2004, so my zodiac sign is Libra. I wasn’t really the healthiest kid when I was 6 years old. I had pneumonia and was almost at the critical point of the illness. Thanks to God, I recovered, but ever since that incident, my parents have become quite strict about my health. I grew up in a family of six, surrounded by love, lessons, and responsibilities. I have three siblings an older brother whom I look up to, and my two younger ones, a brother and a sister, whom I try my best to guide and support. Being the second eldest, but also the first daughter, came with its own set of challenges and expectations. From a young age, I had to step up and take on responsibilities that helped me mature faster than most kids my age. Helping at home, looking after my younger siblings, and balancing school all became a regular part of my daily life. There were times when it felt overwhelming, but those experiences shaped who I am today. I learned how to be patient, dependable, and caring. I became someone my family could count on, even when I was struggling quietly on the inside. Through those moments, I discovered a quiet strength in myself, the kind that doesn’t need to be loud to be powerful. Since I was a kid, I’ve been close with my cousins and childhood friends, we would play, have fun, and share countless memories. I like to travel with my cousins, and I’m kind of an adventurous person. There were times we traveled to places like Camotes Island with my uncle, aunt, and cousins, and those moments were always filled with laughter, discovery, and bonding. Those trips made me realize how much I love exploring new places with people I care about. Despite the responsibilities, I’m thankful for how I was raised because it taught me the importance of family, love, sacrifice, and hard work. I carry those values with me in everything I do, whether it’s in school, friendships, or my goals in life. And while I still face challenges, I know I’m capable of overcoming them, not just for myself, but for the people who believe in me.
