More than a million people use Zooniverse (Storm, 2015) and it has led to scores of publications in several scientific fields (Yoho and Vanmali, 2016). Multitudes of data can be collected in shorter time periods than ever before.

The ability to collaborate! Citizen science apps like Zooniverse open up research projects to anyone interested, which is mostly a great thing. However, it still takes the "professionals" to verify and analyze all of that information, which takes an incredible amount of time.

Does it translate?
