         <title>Berlin 1936</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Luz Long was born in Germany on April 27th, 1913 and he died on July 14th, 1943. When he competed in the 1936 Berlin Olympics he was 21 years old. Jesse Owens was born in America on September 12th, 1913 and died on March 31, 1980. When he competed in the 1936 Olympics he was also 21 years old.</p><p><br/></p><p>Luz Long (Germany) and Jesse Owens (USA) were competing in the Berlin 1936 Olympics and were doing the long jump. Jesse Owens got his first two jumps disqualified and Luz Long gave him a tip, which helped him qualify for the final. Jesse Owens went on to win the gold medal and a friendship was created.</p>]]></description>

She is currently 62 years old.</p><p><br/></p><p>Nadia Comaneci from Romania competed in the 1976 Olympics in Montreal. She was a gymnast and her best apparatus was the uneven bars. She was the only gymnastics athlete to get the unreachable "perfect 10" for her uneven bar routine. </p>]]></description>

He is currently 64 years old.</p><p><br/></p><p>Greg Louganis (USA) competed in the 1988 Seoul Olympics. His sport was diving. He struck his head on the spring board during the preliminary round. After that incident he competed in the final and won the gold medal.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Bjorn Daehlie was born in Norway on June 19th, 1967. When he competed in the 1998 Nagano Olympics he was 31 years old. He is currently 56 years old.</p><p><br/></p><p>Bjorn Daehlie competed in the 1998 Nagano Olympics. He was competing in the Men's Cross Country Skiing. He was competing against Kenya's first ever Winter Olympian Philip Boit, who was having a tough time. Bjorn delayed the whole medal ceremony, even though he had finished much earlier, just so he can congratulate Boit on finishing the race.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Nikki Hamblin was bon in England on May 20th, 1988. When she competed in the 2016 Rio Olympics she was 28 years old. She is currently 36 years old. Abbey D'Agostino was born in America on May 25th, 1992. She was 24 during the 2016 Rio Olympics. She is currently 31 years old.</p><p><br/></p><p>During the Women's 5000m race in the Rio 2016 Olympics, Nikki Hamblin (New Zealand) and Abbey D'Agostino (USA) fell during the race. It seemed that D'Agostino was really hurt. The two athletes took turns helping each other finish the race. Even though they didn't qualify for the final, they both got a spot in the final for their sportsmanship.</p>]]></description>
