I want people to pay attention to the survivor testimonials, tab 4. There were fewer survivors who were imprisoned/sent to camps for the sole reason of being gay. Others were gay and Jewish, for example.

After this project, what will stick with me the most is how important representation is for the LGBTQ+ community. I want people to pay particular attention to the impact of the Nazis tab on our website, as I feel like that tab is our most extensive one and covers a range of pertinent information. I will personally remember the T4 and 14f13 programs, which were part of the euthanasia program for the disabled population. It's crazy how members of the disabled population were essentially led to their deaths, all because of physical and mental disabilities, and had to be consistently labeled and categorized by the Nazi party. They were gassed at one of the six main gassing installations, such as Brandenberg, and their families would receive their ashes alongside a falsified cause of death, which is utterly shocking. I'm proud of myself for finding books and movies that would help me find what I was looking for. I'm also proud of my group's survivor accounts section on the website.

I think people should definitely pay attention to our first page, where we describe a brief history of the treatment of the disabled, because understanding how this group was being treated before the 1930s is important to note. The chronology section is very thorough and gives a good run down of everything with specific details. Also, pay particular attention to the Treatment in Wartime section, because it highlights the T4 and the 14f13 programs.
