Bullying is not a harmless rite of childhood that everyone experiences. Research shows that bullying can negatively impact a child’s access to education and lead to:

  • Lower grades
  • Inability to concentrate
  • Loss of interest in academic achievement
  • Increase in dropout rates
overall, bullying negatively impact a student's self-esteem, confidence, leading to decreased motivation and engagement in learning actitvities.

As EAs, we identify what parts of an activity the child can do, and then develop adaptations and strategies for the other parts of the activity in order for the child to be involved in the activity as much as possible.
