- Counting
Children can use different coloured buttons to count from 1 to 10.
Write 1 to 10 on a piece of paper. And form the buttons below each number. 1 blue button represents 1. 2 yellow buttons represent 2. 

Activity 2:
- Make their own faces
Children can use different sizes and colours of the buttons to make their faces (Eyes, nose, mouth, ears) 

Activity 3:
- Patterning
They can form simple patterns that varies in shape, colour and size. The teacher can manipulate two quantities at a time. E.g. small yellow button, big yellow button, small green button, big green button, small yellow button, big yellow button, small green button, big green button

Activity 4:
- Sorting (Opposite concepts - big and small)

To look at symmetry and patterning

Activity 4:
- Geometry 
Exploring simple geometry through art on a cork board. It could be as simple as creating a triangle (3-sided) to a more complex star.

- More or less

Children can draw on the toilet roll as well as use other loose parts (scrap paper, gems, buttons etc.) to decorate their rolls.

- Stamping 
Using the toilet rolls to make circular patterns around the paper. 

Activity 3:
- Story telling
Teachers can write letters on the toilet rolls, and start to tell the story using these letters/words. The teachers can allow children to find the specific letters and words. Children will then be more engaged.

Activity 4:
- Build a structure
Using toilet rolls and straws, they can compete to build the tallest structure. 

Activity 5:
- Decorative piece (Hanging Art)
Children can string the toilet rolls together. Paint the toilet rolls with different patterns which are making use of simple shapes (circles, triangles, squares) to make their own decorative piece. Children can use the bottle caps to create vehicles. The bottle caps could easily be the wheels. 

Activity 3: 
- Make a keychain 
Children can use bottle caps as the base for their keychain. 
They can paste other loose parts on it or draw. 

Activity 4:
- Sliding effect and Circular patterns
