         <description><![CDATA[<p>From the 2 videos, I think the 5 types of transportation such as road, rail, water, air and pipeline transport most resonated with me. This is because I can learn about the types of transportation use in the logistics and supply chain industry. From the videos, I also learn about the advantages and disadvantages of every type of transportation. For examples, quality of service is a constant problem to motor carriers, loss and damage claims tend to be high and frequently service is slow for road transport. For water transport, speed is slow, but it can carry large bulky cargos. For rail transport, it has ability to haul large quantities of products such as coal over long distances and less expensive compared to other type of transportation, but rail services are relatively slow. For air transport, it is fast, but freight rate is correspondingly high. For pipeline transport, it ranks last in the speed compared to the major types of transportation.  </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The thing that surprised me or challenged my existing knowledge is types of warehousing especially the automated warehouses. This is because it implimented AI technology such as computer and robotics technology in the operations of warehouses. Only a few people are needed to handle storage activity for thousands of pounds or kilograms of products in automated warehouses.</p>]]></description>
