 I have learned many things in the topics of algebra and geometry. Some new things I have learned include: expanding double brackets, constructing triangles, forming and solving equations, angles on parallel lines, the index laws, etc. My main strengths include: expanding brackets and double brackets, angles on parallel lines, LCM, algebraic notation, and forming and solving equations. My targets are to get a better understanding of negative numbers and to achieve full marks on my assessments. For term 1 science, I have achieved mastery and have good results on my tests. In science this year, I want to gain some skills and knowledge such as linking and analytical skills. My targets are: to improve my scientific vocabulary, improve my understanding of atoms, elements, and compounds, and get a deeper understanding of chromatography. I will achieve my targets by going over key vocabulary in my book, searching online for deeper information, and making flashcards to practice what I have learned. I think my strengths in Science are: diffusion, active transport, cells, specialized cells, and changes of states. For term 1, I have a grade of Secure and my target grade by the end of the year is Mastery. So far we have learned about observational drawings and have done our own. I want to develop my texture skills in some of my drawings and use more crosshatching. I think this will let me achieve the grade of Mastery. My strengths in Art are details, outlines, and using biro pen. My targets are to use a variety of techniques for details such as cross-hatching and to add more tone. During term 1, we did a few big written assessments. In my report, I got S+ for English and ATL 1. We have learned about poetry, and the techniques used in poetry and have annotated some poems. We have also learned about speech writing and persuasive language. Now, we have started the topic of Shakespeare. Some of my strengths in English include: using figurative language, My target is to use simple, compound, and complex sentences in my writing consistently. Another target is to improve my reading comprehension skills. I will achieve my targets by practicing some exam-styled questions. In term 1, we have learned about using our analyzing and historical skills to analyze sources such as written and oral sources. We used these skills when we tried to solve the mystery of the Tollund Man. As well as that, we did a significant event/person big write. For that, I chose Marie Curie as my significant historical person. I got a Secure + however I was really close to mastery as I was just missing 1 detail. Now we have started our new topic of Ancient Civilizations and we are going to explore ancient civilizations from many different countries. In my report for Arabic, I am currently working above the expected standard and I got ATL 1. So far we have learned about clothes, colors, and online shopping vs direct shopping. - I am most proud of my academic results however I know that they can be better

- I can do exam practice questions, reading, and more to achieve my targets.
