For example to the Pyramids or to a museum.
This could be considered a substitution for an excursion or an augmentation of traditional ways of learning if it is to see a place that cannot be visited easily. This could even be considered a redefinition because visiting The Pyramids was previously inconceivable.

When completing (for example) review questions set from a textbook, previously students could only really access the content printed in the physical textbook. Now, with the development of online textbooks and tools, textbooks can contain external links, videos, audio content and interactive activities beyond simple questions such as games or interactive quizzes. This is probably best suited to the "Modification" section - it allows the task to be adapted and changed, but still serves the same purpose as a review activity.
