For example, in music, the teacher could organise a guest musician/composer/etc. from another country, to talk with the class about what they do etc.
This could be the same with German, having a guest who is a translator/interpreter or just a person or even a student/s from Germany.
In all circumstances, students can ask questions and have that connection to the discipline in the real world.
