Although this book directly focuses on the love and care of one living organism to another, it also focuses on the cycle of hibernations for bears, the gathering of food, interactions with other living species, and a small introduction to the seasons. In this book, llama llama encounters a bully at school who would rather joke at the expense of others suffering. One day the bully goat decides to intrude on llama llama's playtime with another friend. Instead of retaliating with force or malice actions, Llama llama does the appreciate thing to do is inform the teacher on the bully goats actions. This is exemplified in the book Can I Be Your Dog? This book conveys the story of a dog named Arfy who is attempting to find his perfect match to be his owner. Arby comes across several different humans with different professions, but none are interested in becoming his owner until he meets a postal woman who actually initiates the conversation with Arby.
