As this is about unleashing creativity, we need a VERY simple objective.

To write something based on a painting. By 12.00. And enjoy it. That's it. No other rules because rules may get in the way.

But first we need to create the right climate for creativity to flourish.

What should we do?

What should we NOT do?

What are we going to write anyway? The start of a novel? What genre? A complete short story? A poem: free verse? structured in stanzas?
A monologue? A play? A screenplay?

Some suggestions:
Buddy up with another and compare notes.
Work on your own in isolation.
Work together but quietly, like a creative writing group.
Read your work aloud.
Don't read it aloud, save it for yourself.
Do it completely your own way 'cos howdoyouknowwhat'sinmyheadyou'rejustateacheriknowwhatI'mdoing!
