         <description><![CDATA[<p>Congress passed this act that helps relive freedmen and refugees.</p><p><br/></p><p>They provided food clothes medical services and more to displaced southerners and freed African Americans.</p><p><br/></p><p>I8 63 is when representative Eliot proposed the bill though it took 2 months for the house to debate, then when it was sent to the senates select then some time after back to the house where the treasury passed and amended it.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>While he was watching a special performance he was shot.</p><p><br/></p><p>John Wilkles Booth was the assassin and dropped the gun.</p><p><br/></p><p>He was shot through his left ear and left paralyzed with the bullet right behind his right eye. He died at 7:22 am April 15th</p><p><br/></p><p>Abraham belived that anyone who fought in the war deserved voting rights.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>These were a few laws passed by the southern us.</p><p><br/></p><p>It restricted black peoples rights like owning property and land.</p><p><br/></p><p>The laws were unfair and made it illigal to not have a job and black people werent allowed to testify against white people.</p>]]></description>
