We discussed the importance of teaching teachers to:
-Encourage Self Reflection
-Create a safe place for students
-Let students take the lead
-Lean into discomfort
-Don't have a predetermined outcome

Inclusivity was introduced as giving every student what they need “ barriers to learning and assessment are not restricted to those with a statement of needs”. This helps reframe the thinking that all “typical” students learn the same way and we adjust only for the “atypical” learners. IB is designed with a UDL student centered approach that addresses the transient student needs that may arise.
