(Syed Arieff)Orang asli - Translates to 'original people', they're the oldest people to inhabit Peninsular Malaysia. They still live in parts of malaysia, there is a mix that still live in the jungle and some that live in cities. Most tribes have started to use some modern technology however not fully. They did not have much of a choice as the Malaysian government would only consider small parts of their land as 'ancestral forests' and the rest was cut down and harvest due to the expansion of Malaysia

I would like to learn if they have spiritual connection to nature

One one the big traditions we have in Greece is the dying of eggs at Easter time. This symbolises the blood of Christ on the cross and the egg symbolises rebirth.
With communication, we don’t nod or shake for yes or no. To show no, we tilt out head back once, to show yes, we nod we slightly tilt our head forward. We don’t do the ‘ok’ symbol, it comes off as offensive or insulting to show an open palm. Men tend to use loud voices as it shows expression and excitement instead of aggressive or anger.
The younger ones are to alwyas take care of the elders aswell out of respect and love, if we didnt have respect for our elders we were looked 'down upon' and 'cast off'.

They are Karen or Kariang. They still live there, in the north-western part of Thailand. There are actually 9 so-called Hill Tribes that are officially recognized, not just Karen. But Karen people are the most well-known and contribute to the largest proportion of Hill Tribes. Even though they are adapting to the more modern environment surrounding them, they still strictly keep their customs and traditions, especially wearing their traditional clothes. They are Sino-Tibetan language–speaking people. Padaung tribe is the most famous Karen tribe in Thailand, best known for the neck rings worn by their women.
