         <description><![CDATA[<div>On most computers many processes will appear to be running when in fact (if there is only one processor) only one will actually be running at once. The OS does this by allocating processor time to each process.<br><br>Allocating processor time is done by the&nbsp;<strong>processor scheduling</strong>&nbsp;program of the OS and is hidden from the user and application programs.</div>]]></description>
