Furthermore, stemming from the readings before the Gospels, they look to Old Testament. Thus, through such, they are able to better emphasise the role of Jesus as their exemplar, and further learn about and better comprehend the origins of Christianity. Ultimately, this allows adherents to better express their connection to their spirituality through having an enriched understanding of its origins and most pivotal figure, and further assists them in better living out God's Word in their everyday, post-worship.

    When Christians gather together and pray during Saturday/Sunday during worship, they strengthen fellowship with one another and are guided to foster their personal relationship with God. For example, the Our Father, which is a common prayer across all Christian denominations unifies worshippers as the prayer is recited in unison, establishing a greater sense of community, strengthened through holding hands while praying. This further enables the adherents to become closer to God as the Our Father is the communion rite enabling eucharist to be fully understood.
