My name is Eric Vidal, but you can call me Vidal, I think it's less common here in Mexico than Eric.  I studied aeronautical engineering at IPN. I used to live in Santiago de Querétaro because of work at the Maintenance, Reparation and Operations of aircrafts. I returned to Mexico City as an intern at the Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance Office at the Bank of Mexico.

 I like to do exercise on my free time, specially running in the mornings with my father. I am proud to say that I have run two times the CDMX marathon with him. I have two dogs, Cloud and Cow (Cloud is the mother of Cow). I also go running with them at the park every weekend. They are 15 & 10 years old respectively.  

I used to play the acoustic guitar and the piano before I started to work. My favourite artist is Ed Sheeran. I enjoy watching superhero’s movies and series, specially from MARVEL. Also, I like to see Britain's Got Talent, I really enjoy all the performances.  I think my favourite type of food are the Mexican and Japanese food, specially the “Aztec soup”. 

I am glad to be here with all of you guys, so feel free to recommend me movies, series, books, songs and ask me any question that you have.

I am 23 years old, and I am an informatic engineer but I also studied 1 semester in other careers like Communication’s Sciences or Laws. 

I enjoy doing lot of different stuff during my free time like listening to music, watching movies and hang out with my friends. I have always had different kind of friends so that has made me a very open person, therefore I like lot of music and films genres, from pop and rock to regional music and reggaeton, and from musicals and mystery to comedy and drama. 

One of the things I love to do the most is dancing, I love latin rhythms like Salsa, Bachata and Cumbia, and I used to attend a bachata academy named “Bachata Real” in which I took 3-hour lessons every day. Recently I have not been able to practice because I had a serious injury 3 months ago which left me without being able to walk with one of my two feet. Nonetheless over the last two weeks I have been able to walk again (slowly but safely) so that makes me very happy!

 

As hobbies I like to draw and paint, read about philosophy and science themes and cook vegetarian dishes from around the world. I really love nature and animals and I have a pair of dogs, two cats and a leopard gecko, which is a type of lizard!

My taste in music is more or less diverse and some of my favorite bands include Radiohead and Pink Floyd. 

In 2018 I had the opportunity to visit China, it was super interesting to know about a completely different culture. Since then my curiosity has grown and I´d like to travel and visit more countries, like the UK, so I´m trying to improve my English to have more opportunities in this matter.

My name is Eduardo, I´m from Matlapa, San Luis Potosi. And I’d like to tell you something about me. Well, my favourite place is the Huasteca Potosina because there is where I grew up, and also if you visit it I´m sure it will be an amazing adventure that you will never forget. However, I know you think why I tell you these words, but I tried to resume this in two reasons. First of all, around this place you can see a lot of nature, wild live and beautiful rivers, for example, in Huasteca there is the Sotano de las Golondrinas that is one of the most impressive natural abysses in Mexico. Secondly, all people are friendly, for example, a Huastec always give you all possible help and recommendations for you will have an incredible experience in this place. On other hand, my family live there, then, perhaps my opinion is extremely biased but for me see water flowing, green trees and animals is impressive. 

 

I studied economics in IPN, both underdegre and master’s degree. My favourite topic in economics is econometrics. Then, my current job is in econometrics models. Well, I like movies about finance, economic and documentaries about these topics.

I am married and have two children, one of them 12 years old and the other 8 yo. My family and I love going to the beach and enjoy the sea, the sand and the sun. Practically the whole year you can enjoy the sea because the water of the beach has an exquisite temperature and bathing for hours is something that I really enjoy to do. In addition, something that I also really enjoy is eating seafood, almost throughout the state there are many restaurants that sell excellent seafood, it is very fresh because they just take it out of the sea and they practically serve it to you. Shrimp, octopus, fish and many other shellfish have a unique flavor. Aguachile, ceviche, and fried fish are my favorite seafood meals.

Also I love to see the boxing and playing and watching soccer. Some time I was doing cycling, which is a great and beautiful sport. I also like to watch movies, series and documentaries, it can be on Netflix or on a similar platform and also go to the movies with my family, and see practically all the children's movies that come out.

About my profession, I am an electronic engineer and I work as a professor at the technological institute of Culiacán. I really want to improve my English to be able to study in the United Kingdom.
